| 2006-07-03 - Ocean City Fishing Red Hot - Over Under Adding Days! |
Capt. John called in last night and reported that on his first day back at it up north, the bite was on. They battled nice sized bluefin and 40# yellowfin all morning, calling it quits by about noon. The largest Bluefin went 162#, with several other fish in the 100# class caught as well. Looks like the fishing hasn't missed a beat since we left in October.
Based on this great report, the OVER UNDER is packing it up in the Bahamas a week early, to get in on the hot action off of Ocean City. We now have an extra week, which we will spend at Ocean City, before moving on to Avalon for the rest of the season.
If anyone would like to join us on the Over Under, fishing out of Ocean City, the run to the fish is only 50 miles from the inlet and we have almost an entire week open! July 21-26 is when we will be there, and we'd love to see some of our Jersey customers come and join us in Ocean City. We have a plane at Cape May, so if anyone wants to fly over, just let us know. It's about a 15 minute flight.
