Currently we are available to fish the July moon in Crooked Island or San Salvador! We are available to reposition our boats anywhere in the Bahamas, year round, on a weekly basis. Let us know when and where you'd like the boat and we'll be there! We are currently sold out for short term packages for the 2010 season in the Southern Bahamas, but do have availability for short term trips in the Abacos. Winter WAHOO! San Salvador, Bahamas Fishing offers a chance at world class wahoo. Best Wahoo months are January, February, and March. Yellowfin tuna trips beginning in April, Blue Marlin in May/June.
When in San Salvador, we charter out of Riding Rock Marina. Riding Rock offers both dining and hotel facilities, as well as a full PADI Dive operation. From the marina, the famous hump to the North is 10 miles, while the NE and Sandy Point are each about 7 miles. Often unfished, is the South-East point, which also offers some incredible structure for big game fish. OU currently creates custom trips to San Salvador, but is not there all the time, so please call ahead! San Sal is in close proximity to both Cat Island and Rum Cay.

On Cat Island, Over Under charters out of Hawks Nest Resort and Marina, which offers very nice beachfront cottages, dining facilities, clubhouse, freshwater pool, and a modern 28 slip marina facility. Hawk’s Nest Marina is conveniently located on the Southwest corner of Cat Island, approximately 300 miles south east of Fort Lauderdale and 140 miles south east of Nassau. The marina facility, which is entered via a natural creek on the leeward side of the island and is extremely well protected, experiencing virtually no surge commonly found in other Bahamas.

Cat Island Fishing is all about structure, structure, and more structure! From the marina, the drop-off is 100 yards! Depending on sea conditions and the bite, the lines can literally be dropped once you’ve cleared the entrance to the marina. Prominent “hot spots” such as Tartar Bank, a sea mount rising up from the depths of over 3000ft, to a peak of 80ft, is 4 miles from Hawk’s Nest, and Columbus Point, off the South East corner of Cat Island, is 14 miles.

On the remote Island of Rum Cay, Over Under operates Bahamas fishing charters out of Sumner Point Marina nestled into the South East corner of this tiny island. The South East and North East points at Rum Cay are two of the best producing fishing areas in the Bahamas. From the marina, you may as well drop the lines when you clear the outer reef. The South-East Point is only a couple miles away and has quietly become one of the best producing Blue Marlin areas in the entire Caribbean. Inshore the free diving and bottom fishing is equally excellent. One of the best features of Rum Cay is its small size, allowing us to fish the leeward side of the island on those otherwise unfishable days.

A prerequisite to obtaining this license is an official inspection of the charter boat to be licensed, as well as licensing of all crew that will operate the charter boat.
